Amazing! I was looking for authentic Mexican food and I found it at Hacienda! There was so much to choose from it was hard to decide, but the quesadilla and chiles rellenos were definitely the right choice. The food came out delicious. Also, the atmosphere is beautiful with the murals all over the place. The horse brings a fun touch too. Raul was attentive, professional, and a great host. I am already planning on coming back and getting the Churros again. YUM!
Do you offer catering services to just Suffern NY?
We offer catering services to most of Northern NJ and Rockland County NY. We charge zero delivery fees and we can also host parties and events at our restaurant or we will go to you.
What group sizes can you provide catering for?
As low as 10 people to as many as several hundred. It is no problem for us. Just call us ahead of time and let us know what we need to accomodate for.
Do you deliver food to us truly free of charge at our catering event?
Yes that is correct. We do not charge for delivery. We will take any orders for catering normally within a 25 mile radius of the restaurant however we can go beyond that depending on the events and circumstances. Just call us and ask.
What do you charge for catering services?
Either we charge by the trays and we have different sizes and options or we charge by person. This can vary depending on the event and accomodations. We have several options including taco bar, buffet style, certain dishes and foods, all you can eat and more.
Do you provide bartenders and servers?
We will yes. Our experienced team, bartenders, and servers are extremely well versed and well trained at their jobs. Not to mention they are super nice and friendly! We have full liability insurance and normally we have 1 bartender for every 50 guest as a rule of thumb.
Is gratuity included in your catering services?
Gratuties are not included in the bill unless the client does so and catering is not required to provide any gratuity. They are however happily accepted by our staff for work that warrants it. There are no tip jars at any events, parties, or weddings. It is totally up to you or the guest to provide any tips or gratuity.
How do I place my catering order?
For trays normally those can be ordered online. We offer 1/4, 1/2, and full size trays. Each tray can easily feed 10 people in most cases. Our portions are very generous. We want everyone to enjoy our Mexican style food. For parties and events we can place phone orders and sometimes may require a deposit depending on party and catering size.
How much notice do we need to provide before a catering event?
In most instances we require at least 72 hours notice. We need to buy food ahead of time and get the right staff ready. Sometimes we need to make substitutions if certain ingredients cannot be sourced and in the event this happens the client is notified.
Do you have vegetarian options for catering food?
As a matter of fact we do! We can create dishes that are 100% vegetarian. You can mix and match whatever you want, it is no problem for us.
Are plates, napkins, and utensils provided for any catering services?
If we are providing a catering service deliveres to your house that doesn't require it then no. However in most cases we will provide plates, napkins, and utensils especially if asked upon request. There is no additional charge for this.
Do you accomodate food allergies?
Yes 100% we accomodate for food allergies. We would never put our patrons and clients at risk for illness and we want all our clients to try our world class, second to none, Mexican food.
Can I have catering outdoors?
Absolutely you can! We love the outdoors and nothing better than eating some great family style Mexican food in sunny weather on Sunday afternoon. We've had many clients ask us to bring catering food at a park, weddings that are outside, resorts, pools, lakes, camp sites, you name it
What if I have additional questions?
Call us directly at the restaurant and ask to speak with Raul or Kevin. We answer any questions you have regarding your catering order or event. Most questions can easily be answered in less than a New Jersey or New York minute.
